Compass Finance advises Dierenzorggroep by sale to Evidensia
Compass Finance has assisted the shareholders of Dierenzorggroep by the sale to Evidensia Djursjukvård AB.
The team of Compass Finance has put together the information package for the buyers and carried out a valuation of the company. After receiving and analyzing the offers Compass Finance has lead the negotiations and the structuring of the transaction. After the coordination of the due diligence investigation Compass Finance has teamed up with the lawyer in drafting the legal documentation.
Dierenzorggroep is the leading Dutch chain for veterinary care with 29 veterinarians working in 15 practices for companion animals and large animals. After the foundation in 1988 Dierenzorggroep has grown by acquisitions over the last few years. With locations in Vianen, Gorinchem, Leerdam, Hoornaar, Groesbeek, Hendrik Ido Ambacht, Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Rotterdam, Houten and Den Bosch the company has a good presence in the center of Holland from the west to the east.
Evidensia is the quality-leading chain for veterinary care in Europe and comprises almost 160 animal hospitals and clinics established in seven European countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Germany and Switzerland). Evidensia treats around 1,300,000 animals per year and has approximately 2,200 employees. The major shareholder of Evidensia is private equity firm EQT, the leading private equity group in Northern Europe.
